  1. I will admit to myself that PTSD is an issue in our lives. 
  2. I will take care of myself.
  3. I will learn everything I can about PTSD.
  4. I will accept my spouse has changed and has PTSD.
  5. I will find support for myself.
  6. I will remember I can’t fix my spouse.
  7. I will be respectful and understanding.
  8. I will respond with compassion.
  9. I will respect myself.
  10. I will remember to laugh.
  11. I will admit I have made mistakes in our marriage and work on my personal issues to be a better person.
  12. I will remember I am not alone.
